North Bend, OR. (March 16, 2020) – Due to circumstances out of everybody’s control, we are postponing Round 2 of Pac West Motocross Series at Riley Ranch MX to the final round on September 27th. The health and safety of riders, families, sponsors, dealerships, facilities, and OEM’s in this situation takes precedence over hosting a motocross race. PWPG, LLC will not promote an event that would lead to the controversy by ignoring a National emergency moving ahead in holding Round 2.
The Pac West Motocross Series model is designed to raise the much-needed revenue for each facility, and we feel postponing the event and rescheduling is the most optimal way to accomplish this mission. Furthermore, we are mindful of the financial burden that may impact families over the coming weeks.
The state ban on gatherings over 250 people will be lifted on April 11th in Oregon. Unless state officials make any further changes to the order, Eugene MX will go as scheduled on April 18th.
PWPG, LLC wishes you all a healthy March and we will keep you posted on new information as things develop.
